Standard Features of the BSP Wedge Wire Basket

	Standard basket is manufactured from stainless steel.
	Cover has a lifting ring for easier removal.
	The large basket provides longer periods of time between cleaning and consequently lower maintenance costs to the customer.

The Tate Andale’s BSP Series is a fabricated wedge wire basket strainer and is available in standard as well as custom configuration. The BSP Wedge WireStrainers are available in sizes 3” through 24”.

Strainer Basket
A strainer is only as good as its basket. They are the very heart of the unit and this is no place to compromise with quality.

Wedgewire Basket Material
The strainer baskets are manufactured from Tate Andale’s high tensile, continuous slot wedgewire screen. The baskets offer a very high open area and a very low pressure drop. Wedgewire baskets are available in a wide variety of materials and slot openings from .004 in. to .25 in.

	Wedgewire baskets offer high open area and a very low pressure drop. The low pressure drop translates to lower costs of operation and maintenance.
	·Wedgewire baskets give the added benefits of increased strength and higher allowable differential pressure before cleaning the basket. Long life of basket and longer periods of time between cleaning.
	Strainer is manufactured in accordance with ASME Code, Section VIII, Division I for Unfired Pressure Vessels. Optional code stamps available.
	Design pressures available: 150 and higher.
	Materials available: Carbon steel, 304 SS, 316 SS, and “L” grade stainless steels.
	Internet coating available.
